How to make your stylish online gallery using bananalbum.com
- Click on the link below which will direct you to bananalbum.com
- On their site click downloads.
- Choose where you want to download from, we suggest jalbum.com (Win + Mac).
- Once at jalbum.com go to the top tabs and select download, you will have to sign up to jalbum before downloading. You will only need the free version (30mb of space).
- Once everything has been downloaded to your computer, open up jalbum, go to file and select new album project and lable it.
- Make sure you select bananalbum from the 'skins' drop down menu at the bottom left as it is the best one, but it's your choice .
- Now you can drag and drop images from other files into this album project, make sure the images are your best work.
- Then go to 'Settings' and then 'Images' and set the jpg quality to 75 and decrease the 'image bounds' to 512x512.
- Then in settings click on bananalbum. Here you will be able to adjust the colour and where your thumbnails go. We suggest you take out the text, but if you leave it in make sure your images are titled.
- Click check box 'All' and then 'make album' once you have finished, and then view it to check you are happy with it.
- Finally you can publish it and when you do this you will get a url address (http://yourname.myjalbum.net/albumproject/) where you will be able to view the images online, a basic website of your images .
- Then cut and paste this url and put it in the website URL box when you sign up.
- You will be able to edit, by adding or taking away images, and everytime you republish the album it will automatically change, but make sure you don't delete the individual album project for the whole time you are a member, or people won't see your work.
