I Mainly work with food, creating landscapes which depict contemporary environmental issues, staged ironically with a romantic paining aesthetic. The crude construction lends a hand to the fact that this is a man made dissaray and we are the architects of our own problem.

My work has only just begun to develop. I like trying out different areas of photography and different techniques. I tend to shoot reflections, people, close ups at interesting angles, however I am unsure of my chosen genre as I do not want to label my style yet until I have experimented further!

I am a mature student who has returned to study after being in the wrong industry for 18 years. In the past 2 years I have re discovered film photography and now shoot film almost exclusively.
At the moment I am working on my FMP and also Portfolio work to update my web site which is a little out dated now.

A main subject in my work is embodiment or physicality. Thus far I have explored these topics through self portraiture and still-life involving intimate spaces, beds in particular, though I believe this exploration will continue in new forms in the future.

Although I am only just studying at college level I am an enthusiastic worker and would like the opportunity to assist a photographer and learn more about the industry.
